Barbados Cherries and Florida White Butterflies....... Home.

Subtle changes:  We are or may be going through......

You don't see too many Barbados Cherries but where they are they seem to be fruiting........

and down in the old roadside park yesterday... thousands literally thousands of the Florida White Butterfly.

All these localized little thunder storms and associated showers have been popping up here and there... as the weather forecasters  throw   their calls like the rolling of dice  to speak or bark out like unknowing dogs.......... I guess that is proof it is hard to be right  or very accurate all the time or any of the time....  I revel in glee at their error.

Heavens!  NO......... fellow mankind is wrong..........'But can't possibly be'  sounds hauntingly familiar on numerous fronts    'these days'  or just my perception  I suppose?

Wow! there was actually a place to park at Bahia Honda State Park... nice of the International tourists...to ' scooch'  over an inch......... for me,   I am indebted  forever........

I took it upon myself to have an almost at length conversation with the entrance booth Ranger , he had big round eyes....about how it was and why it took so long to collect the entrance fees?..... whilst I was holding up a number of cars behind my old wobbly truck myself........ it brought me the utmost joy........... as I glanced in the rear view mirror ... so satisfying............ gabbing on............ sitting at a stand still... engine switched off............

He told me it was due to the use of International Credit Cards.......  no one travels with cash these days  they prefer .... they prefer to swipe.....you see?  their magnet strips  , apparently .

Maybe most use vitamin E infused toilet paper as well?

An old long time friend of mine is moving.... the joys of it,  so the last three days I found myself over his way helping to move his treasured wood scraps...  of white oak, mahogany, and cedar,  bulky pieces of furniture and some potted plants  inclusive of a Lignum Vitae ........ the ever slow growing extreme hardwood... they used to make bearings out of .

I love boiling over in the heat.... what are friends for after all, and Gatorade?

It was nice of him to give me an extra mainsail for my little Queen Mary and a beautiful extra tiller handle made of fine Mahogany .. well that is the kind of guy he is......... and the kind of guy I am.

Watching the lower Keys unfold......... lurking.
